HE Simm Becomes A Supply Chain Sustainability School Partner

HE Simm, one of the UK’s leading MEP providers, has confirmed its commitment to sustainability by becoming a Partner of the Supply Chain Sustainability School.

The Supply Chain Sustainability School is a world-wide, award-winning, initiative which provides a best-practice framework to help suppliers and sub-contractors with sustainability expertise and capacity. The School is helping organisations meet the challenging targets set by the UK Construction Strategy 2025.

HE Simm recognises that a holistic supply-chain approach is essential to making a positive impact on sustainability. By joining, HE Simm is demonstrating its ongoing commitment to social and environmental responsibilities, whilst achieving sustainable growth through measured expansion. It also recognises the vast range of knowledge that becoming a Partner gives the company access to.

Gareth Simm, HE Simm’s Managing Director, comments: “Our passion for excellence is entrenched in every aspect of our business. Our team and supply chain partners continually strive to provide customers with high value solutions. We aim to be our stakeholders’ trusted partner of choice recognising that a collaborative and methodical approach is essential.”

“We intend to use the best in class knowledge that joining will give us access to. We will be rolling out e-learning via videos as well as learning resources on sustainability, offsite construction and management techniques to help develop, lead innovation and embed change within our workforce.”

Sarah Goulden, the company’s Head of Supply Chain, adds: “We are excited about the positive outcome that becoming a Partner of the Supply Chain Sustainability School will bring to our business and supply chain partners”.

“We look forward to exchanging and sharing information to encourage change in our business and in the industry to the benefit of the environment and future generations.”
