HE Simm Promotes Loyal Procurement Manager of Ten Years to Group Procurement Director

HE Simm, one of the UK’s leading engineering and services companies has promoted Sarah Goulden, who joined the company as supply chain manager a decade ago, to its Group Procurement Director.

In her new role, Sarah will lead the Group central procurement function, including the development and implementation of strategic and operational sourcing, supply chain management strategies and operational processes.

The move comes following the company’s recent announcement about the integration of its Group companies. Sarah’s new role and that of her team will therefore support all companies within the HE Simm Group – HE Simm, HESIS and Aspen Thorn.

Gareth Simm, CEO, said: “Our Group companies is made up of exceptional, talented, individuals who want to achieve the best in everything they do, and Sarah is the epitome of this.

“From her first day with us, Sarah has been a ‘stand out individual’, and has grown in stature and experience as we have grown and diversified. Sarah’s promotion is a clear demonstration of rewarding talent and it is very well deserved.

Sarah adds: “I’m delighted that HE Simm has shown its confidence in me through this promotion. I’ve thoroughly enjoyed the last ten years, and I’m now looking forward to the challenges and opportunities that lie ahead and to supporting all of our Group companies.”
