Due to continued growth, we are currently looking to recruit two Senior Quantity Surveyors to join our Engineering Services Division in London.
The purpose of a Senior Quantity Surveyor
To assist the Project Manager, Operations Director and Commercial Manager in the financial and contractual control of allocated projects. You will have a practical approach to commercial interaction with the client and be ‘customer facing’ and capable of maintaining and developing meaningful relationships with our stakeholders, whilst achieving the target cost and programme of the allocated projects.
You will provide assistance as requested by management in review of tender documents and provide necessary clarification on proposed attendances/contract/terms as required to limit unreasonable commercial risk.
In this role you will be:
As a senior member of staff, you will provide leadership and guidance for the delivery teams in line with company standards and values, working to maximise the potential of the team and the individuals within the team. You will also be involved in and lead on all nature of commercial activity relating to a project, including: subcontract management, cash flow forecasting, monthly financial reviews, planning, final account and variations agreed.
Requirements (you must have):
You will be educated to B.Sc. Degree or hold satisfactory, relevant experience.
A high proficiency in Microsoft Office, with the ability to create relevant spreadsheets and formulae.
