Junior IT Support Technician

As a junior working in a small team you will be exposed to all areas of the company’s IT infrastructure from networking and VPN’s to servers and hardware with even a possibility to learn Microsoft .NET and SQL server.

You will have excellent communications skills, be confident within yourself and have a “can do” attitude. Telephone and internal/external communications must always be professional and courteous.

You will primarily work the service desk, receiving and resolving calls and tickets and attend HE Simm Group sites around the UK as and when required (predominantly North).

Troubleshooting problems remotely and escalating issues to senior members of IT will be a key component of your role, keeping users up to date on the progress of their issues throughout each job.

You will install and setup new printers, maintain company IT equipment with software and security updates and support users with Microsoft Office and Google G Suite products.
