HE Simm was chosen by Downing Construction to work as building services partner on this new academic complex for Leeds Metropolitan University. This 23 storey tower development comprises of approx 110,000.00 sqft of teaching space and offices, a new Baptist church, a café exhibition space as well as 240 student bedrooms.

All departments of HE Simm worked in close conjunction with the Architect, Clients Consultant and end user to provide a 10% renewable solution helping to achieve a BREEAM rating of Very Good. Innovative measures such as the prefabrication of cylinder cupboards and the use of radiator templates allowed HE Simm to satisfy all end user requirements within a tight, pre-defined budget.
