Kings Dock Mill Liverpool - 15/09/2008
HE Simm have recently been appointed M&E Design & Build Sub Contractor at Kings Dock Mill Liverpool, the scheme comprises 2 levels of subterranean car parking, 190 apartments within 2 blocks of ten storey’s in height, a 150 bed 4 star hotel over 8 floors.
Main Contractor Bowmer & Kirkland have negotiated the scheme with HE Simm over an 18 month period, in association with the Residential Developer Brabco 719 and Somerston the Hampton (Hilton) Hotel Operator.
Bowmer & Kirkland started on site July 2008, and the scheme is scheduled to be completed in July 2010, M&E installation is scheduled to start Spring 2009 with a 52 week on site programme.
The overall value of works to HE Simm is £5million, which involves:-

- Smoke extract ventilation
- Boosted water
- Whole House ventilation
- Lighting,
- Power
- Fire alarm
- Access control
- CCTV
- Sprinkler
- VRV heating/cooling
- BMS controls
- Heat recovery ventilation
- Public health
