Hewitt Centre, Woman’s Hospital Liverpool - 10/09/08

HE Simm have recently been appointed as M&E Sub Contractor for the new Hewitt Centre at the Woman’s Hospital Liverpool, the scheme comprises new extension and refurbishment of existing ward to form a new Department for Reproductive Medicine

Main Contractor Galliford Try selected HE Simm over stiff competition from a number of tendering sub contractors, the clients team consists of AA Projects, Hulley & Kirkwood M&E Engineers and Gilling Dodd Architects.

Galliford Try started on site July 2008 and the scheme is scheduled to be completed July 2009, M&E installation is scheduled to start October 2008 with a 40 week on site programme.

The overall value of the works to HE Simm is £1.1million, which involves:-

• Supply & Extract Ventilation
• Low & Medium Temperature Heating
• BMS Controls
• Lighting
• Power
• Fire Alarm
• Specialist Systems
