In what has been an excellent month for HE Simm in securing major projects, a further success was the award of Maryton Monastery in Liverpool with Nobles Construction. The project is circa £800k for the complete design and build of mechanical and electrical installations.

The scheme will commence on site later in the year and has already undergone several design reviews to reduce its carbon footprint by increasing the capacity of the Ground source system, and providing various natural ventilation solutions.

The Monastery comprises the following elements, lighting, power, security, CCTV, Ventilation, heating, water services , rain water installations, solar, and Ground Source Heat pumps via a surface lake.

Stan Rothwell is the operations manager responsible for this project, supported by project manager Adam Penketh.
HE Simm have also been asked to provide comprehensive facility management services, which will be managed through the Asset and FM division managed by Jamie Abdilla

Gareth Simm, Managing Director, commented that, “HE Simm have had an excellent relationship with Nobles Construction for many years, and this significant development will provide a platform to develop relationships even further”.
