Lawrence Simm - Chairman

Lawrence has devoted his working life in creating and developing the HE Simm business for over 45 years. Lawrence provides business strategic planning for all our business activities, and actively seeks methods of further improving our already excellent service levels for clients. With Lawrence's vast experience, continuing drive, and enthusiasm he provides on going advice and best practice approach for all our business team leaders. Lawrence’s commitment to the highest safety, quality, training and environmental practices is embedded within all our operations and his continual strive for excellence provides clients proof of HE Simm strive for continued excellence.

Gareth Simm - Managing Director

Gareth has over 20 years experience in the industry, he is a proven business leader, and by nature is driven by excellence in client service and continual improvements in delivery. Gareth provides direct leadership qualities which each of the business leaders respect and aspire to achieve and improve upon. Gareth’s continual drive, enthusiasm and natural desire to succeed, he is completely dedicated and focused on the success and continual improvement of all company operations. Gareth works closely with Lawrence, Jean and John in establishing planned and strategic business objectives, which Gareth promotes and delivers throughout the company. Gareth manages these strategies with his team leaders who work under Gareth’s direction.

John Lennie - Regional Director

A vastly experienced business manger with over 30 years experience, John provides leadership, and team management. John has extensive experience in education, retail, health, residential, commercial buildings, hotels and leisure sectors including hotel refurbishments. John has successfully led some of the United Kingdoms largest ‘PFI’ services schemes over £60 million.

Greg Simm - Operations Director

Greg has an extensive track record in all projects sectors over the past 10 years. As an Operations Director, Greg provides great leadership, advice and knowledge to his team. Greg is very hardworking, professional, conscientious and dedicated to his projects to make sure deadlines are met and projects are run on time to budget. Greg boasts 100% client retention over the past 10 years as his clear approach offers his clients assurances and comfort in his ability to deliver beyond their expectations.

Jean Simm - Finance Director

Jean has worked with Lawrence and Graham for over 35 years and provides complete financial accounting and cost management throughout the business operations. Jean works closely with Gareth in determining business forecasts and determines values associated with training and appointment of apprentices/technicians which provides resources sustainability for both the business and our clients. Jean promotes the company excellence in training ,quality, environmental and best practices by providing accounting systems and practices to provide for these essential business aspects.

Graham Simm - Director

Graham has devoted his working life creating and developing the HE Simm business for over 40 years with Lawrence and Jean. Graham is a vastly experienced Director. Gained through many years of engineering and proven project delivery, Graham provides best use of these extensive engineering skills and techniques by working closely with all our delivery teams and team leaders in improving all aspects of our project delivery, quality, together with re-source management. Graham’s on going commitment to the highest safety, quality, training and environmental practices is delivered throughout all our operations.

Peter O’Keeffe - Pre-Construction Director

Peter has over 20 years experience of Mechanical & Electrical design. From an M & E Consultancy background he has worked on a wide range of projects covering all sectors. Using his technical knowledge, determination and interpersonal skills he has the ability to consistently and successfully deliver designs on time and within budget. Peter is able to offer his depth of knowledge and expertise in order to achieve his clients goals and aspirations.

Martyn Simm - Health and Safety Director

Since joining the company in 2003 after graduating from Durham University, Martyn has worked closely with our safety advisers, Rawlings Consultancy Services developing the company's procedures and approach to health and safety. Martyn's drive and enthusiasm to create a safe, environmentally friendly workplace, flows through all the business acitivities.
